A daily longevity chew for dogs

Thirteen actives, one soft chew, every ordinary day.

Joints, gut, skin and coat, immunity. Thirty chews to a jar, which makes the jar a month.

It takes four to six weeks before there is anything to notice. We would rather say that at the top of the page than at the bottom.

Not for sale yet. The app is free today.

The long middle

Nobody photographs the years when nothing is wrong.

There are pictures of the puppy. There are pictures of the grey muzzle. Between them sit eight quiet years that almost nobody documents, and those are the years this is for.

Not because something is wrong. Because nothing is yet, and that is the cheapest moment to do anything about it.

What you actually notice

It starts as four small things, and none of them look like a problem.

The few steps it takes to loosen up after a nap. A gut that reacts to any change of food. A coat that stopped catching the light. Slowing on the walk you used to do without thinking.

Each one is easy to explain away on its own. That is precisely why they are worth supporting before they arrive.

  • An unsettled gutReacts to any change of food.
  • A dull coatStopped catching the light.
  • Slowing downOn a walk that used to be nothing.

The thirteen

One chew carries the whole formula, not a headline ingredient.

Most chews lead on one active and thin the rest to a dusting. Chewdini puts all thirteen in every chew, across four systems, which is why it is one a day and not a handful.

The jar

Thirty chews. One a day. A jar is a month.

Soft, food-smelling, taken from the hand. Nothing has to be hidden in cheese, which matters more than it sounds when you are doing this every day for a year.

Scan the lid and the jar links to the free app. It knows the breed, tracks what they eat, and tells you when this jar is nearly out.

Four to six weeks

The first month is supposed to be uneventful.

Joints and guts do not turn around in a week. Anything sold to you as faster is making a claim about your patience rather than about biology.

Coat is usually the first thing an owner notices, somewhere around week four. It is the visible one, and a fair proxy for a good deal you cannot see.

What is not in it

The list a chew is judged by is the one nobody prints.

No meat slurry, which is the wet filler most soft chews are built on. No artificial colour, because the dog cannot see it and it is there for you. No added sugar. No fish oil — the omega-3 is from algae, so there are no ocean contaminants and no fish burps.

And no medical claims. It is a complementary feed. It does not treat anything, and we are not going to say it does.

The app is free

The jar is one part. Knowing whether it is working is the other.

Fudini is free, with no subscription. Photograph your dog and it identifies the breed, age and size, then matches food and tracks what changes.

Fudini also makes a collar that measures activity, sleep and feeding. The chew works without any of it.

For dogs of every age

The best time to start is earlier than it feels.

There is nothing here that only suits an old dog. Starting in the middle years is the whole argument — support is cheap and repair is not.

Questions

The ones worth asking.

What is a longevity chew?

A daily chew built around the systems that tend to decide how good a dog's later years are — joints, gut, skin and coat, immunity — rather than around a single problem. It is a complementary feed, so it sits alongside a complete diet, not instead of one.

Is it a medicine?

No. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease. If something is wrong with your dog, that is a conversation with your vet, not with a chew.

How long before I see anything?

Four to six weeks. Coat is usually first. Anything promising faster than that is selling you something.

How many do I give?

One to four a day by weight — up to 10 kg one, 10 to 25 kg two, 25 to 40 kg three, over 40 kg four. It is printed on the jar.

My dog is on medication, or pregnant.

Talk to your vet before starting. Same for lactating dogs and any dog under veterinary care.

Will a fussy dog eat it?

They are soft and smell like food, and most dogs take them from the hand. If yours does not, tell us — that is useful to know and we would rather hear it.

What is the code on the lid?

It links your jar to the free Fudini app, so the app knows which batch you have and roughly when you will run out.

When can I buy it?

Not yet. Chewdini is in production and there is no price on this page because nothing is for sale. Leave an email and we will write once, when it is.
